Easements come in all flavors, but one that is often overlooked is the view corridor. In this example, a property owner constructed a block wall which encroached into a neighbor’s view easement.

After researching the location and local ordinances, I determined that the property owner did in fact violate an existing view corridor by failing to obtain proper authorization from concerned parties.
